Fredrik Dahlberg was born and raised in the upper class neighbourhoods of Eastern Stockholm. Never had he a thought of becoming a dancer. Instead he spent his days with listening to Hip-Hop and playing basketball. As a true rebel of his safe upbringing he moved to the south side and started to show interest in vintage jazz music. One of his friends took him to a lindy hop class and at first he didn't show much of talent, struggling with what was left and right and up and down. Soon after he joined the famous swing dance company Harlem Hot Shots. How is this even possible? With a mind set on nothing else (that is not entirely true) and some luck some might say. With a big portion of individual style and new ideas he brings something refreshing to the scene. He tried tap (and is still trying), but on the other hand he masters dances like the lindy hop, the charleston and of course the eccentric authentic jazz which has entitled him several big awards in only a short period of time. With the Harlem Hot Shots he travels the world regularly and together with the Carling Big Band he tours Sweden one month a year. Fredrik wants his floors slippery and the music swingin' like Basie.

Kıvanç started dancing unwillingly at the age of 5 in a Turkish wedding. After that event he created fear for dancing till 2009 when he met Lindy Hop. A year immediately after, he started teaching lindy hop at Herrang in 2010, during the class breaks, to his friends who knows less, for the purposes of showing off. Since then Lindy hop became his passion and obsession.
İdil started lindy hop in the beginning of 2009 and it was a love at first sight. Since then she has been learning, dancing and teaching in the local scene. For her, dancing lindy hop is being in touch with the spirit. It’s not just moving to the music but spirits being together and co-creating the moment of magic and celebrating in joy and in connection. On the dance floor, she loves improvisation and being playful with footwork and the rhythm. Together they are an energetic couple embodying the spirit of Lindy Hop.
Felipe Braga & Laura Spencer
Felipe and Laura believe that in order to dance, you must allow yourself to be completely free. Their training occurred mainly on the social floor in Seattle's vibrant, unique, and highly-skilled scene; therefore their dance style has a foundation in creativity and good partner connection. After moving to Brazil, their personal style flourished, drawing a great deal of inspiration from the wild, Caranval-esque energy of Brazilian dances.
As professionals, their separate skills compliment one another: Felipe is a champion improviser and solo dancer, and Laura loves to create choreography and perform. As teachers, they aspire to a classroom environment where there is respect for students and one another.
When Laura and Felipe are inspired on the social dance floor, they feel magic can occur. They like to quote the dancers of the Savoy Ballroom (their greatest inspiration), who were once known to muse on the subject of Jazz dance: "The spirit moves us."

Lisa Josefsson started lindy hopping in 2006 and introduced swing to Mozambique in 2012. She taught and choreographed lindy hop and jazz for three years in Maputo and performed with the dance company Hodi Maputo Afro Swing. Lisa has been working on connecting jazz and lindy with its African roots and finding the similarities not only in the body movements but also in the sprit of the dance. This led to the development of what she and her colleagues call ”Afro Swing” a free interpretation of mixing swing with African rhythms and movements recognizing the similar roots. Lisa’s enjoys working with group dynamics and her goal when teaching is that the students leave the room with a smile on their face.
